Daniel, emailed me on the day that I posted my job (Landscaping a small front garden for £250) and said that he had bought the job. After he came for the viewing he said if we could increase budget to £500, we could get the full look we were looking for and also pave some sections of the garden. We were reluctant but accepted to do this. Then he started making excuses about the shrubs and saying our plant budget was too low. When I mentioned that I'd leave a review on rated people, he cancelled the job.

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. We are a local church in London providing food bank and coffee mornings twice a week for the homeless. We requested for a complete repair of Fibre-glass roof which had licks Eclipse Roofing took £4000.00 pound for a complete repair and gave us 20 year warranty. The roof still lick and we have water everywhere. Fibre Matt was not installed the old Fibre not removed.presently we have had to suspend the coffee mornings because of licks to roof. We have consulted our lawyers and Citizen advise bureau.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

I am very disappointed with the service received from SKK construction. Whilst Sean did come and give us a reasonable quote, he failed to deliver! He cancelled our first appointment 15 minutes before the set time, but rearranged another date for the following week. The second time he did not arrive and failed to respond to texts. This is an appalling service- if a trades person does not want a job, they should just say they are not interested. His failure to turn up has ruined plans for 2 weekends .

Thank you for the company reply.....3 months after this took place. My neighbours and I are down £360, which was what your Rated People "builder" charged us, and then of course did the runner. My comments were honest, as per the dealings with the above company. If your system had somehow been hacked, and a complete stranger turned up to our address, then I guess there are bigger issues here. In the meantime, if the company wants to compensate us for this theft, I'll be more than willing to hear from them.

He did 2 small jobs - one was fine, but the other, he did not know how to do and should have said so. This was re-polishing a kitchen worktop. He did not read the application instruction despite being shown them. His painting skills ;eave a lot to be desired and he rushed it as he was being cashed up by others. He left the job incomplete and has not been in contact to finish it completely. He is basically an ok handyman and has a lot of jobs he's juggling all the time. I wouldn't recommend him for any work.

Unfortunately very unhappy with the work and the material used.The gate latches already coming off , the paving stone cracked in places,some of the wood used was weathered , the slope in the paving not adequate ,pools of water collecting in places. completed in 1.5 days so a hurried job done and left all the stone covered in cement .A black limestone looks like a greyish white . Just a month since work done and very disgruntled, would not reccommend to anyone who would want to use their money sensibly !

Didnt turn up to quote twice. Then only wanted to do the part of the job not requiring planning approval. Tried to talk me into getting the work done then putting in the drop kerb at a later date (pointless as I still wouldnt have any legal access to the drive!) not that I had any confidence in him returning to do the 2nd part anyway. Would not hire this company.
