I am very pleased with the work that Alan did for me and I would highly recommend him. Alan responded to my ad and arranged a time to visit for a quote. After discussing my requirements, it was clear to me that Alan is an experienced tiler with lots of knowledge. Communication was excellent and a week later he arrived on time, completed the job within the expected timeframe and cleaned up before leaving. George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!
We complete all aspects of property maintenance on both Residential and Commercial properties - we are nominated contractors for a number of Managing Agents and Commercial businesses.
