Ilia did a fantastic job. He stripped, replastered & painted the walls & ceilings. He also helped with installation of new radiators & with electrical work like installing new plug sockets and the installation of my oven and hob. His work is meticulous and nothing is problem for him. Even when we hit snags like discovering an existing gas leak or neighbours requesting days of quiet work he remained helpful and courteous. He is honest and very trustworthy. I highly recommend him and will use him again!

He was reliable BUT months after he finished the job it became apparent that: 1. he poured plaster down our outside drains which are now blocked because of him 2. He failed to remove the architraves from around the doors before plastering. Now the skirting board in our hall way sticks out because the wall inside the architrave is too thick. He also failed to take simple steps to protect out electrical points which are now all plastered into the wall and had to be removed and replaced.

All looked good to start with. They finished the job on time but a few days later a number of the tiles came loose and much of the grout started to crack. We tried calling numerous times, left messages but to date, no response. I suggest they are removed from rated people immediately.

I used AGL to decorate my 5 bedroom house in W12 in April 2014. The standard of the work was excellent. They are experienced and were able to come up with practical solutions to issues that arose. They were able to carry out addition electrical and plumbing work. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They repsonded promptly to calls and emails. We commission Alex of Construction United in November 2011 to take on a small domestic project for a bathroom refurbishment. It was the first time we have used a tradesman through rated people and I can safely say that we were not disappointed. Alex came across to us as someone with a naturally friendly honest and professional approach. He offered us a competitive rate to do the job and following his appointment, both he and his father started on time, and worked hard to the best of their abilities to deliver the project on time with little cause for concern. I must say they were very patient and coped well with all the late design changes we through at them. At the end of the project payments were simple and organised; Alex presented my mother with a lovely bunch of flowers as a thank you for all the cups of tea and coffee, which we thought was a kind and considerate gesture. He has defiantly been a good find and someone we will recommend and use again on future projects. To sum up using an axiom by C.R Ashbee: ‘Standard of excellence in the industrial arts acts in competitive industry as Gresham’s law acts in coinage.
