Don’t hesitate to use this company! I needed a contractor to carry out complete renovation works (kitchen, bathroom, replastering, decorating, electrics etc) to a flat in Little Paxton, some 200 miles from where I live. I had no knowledge of any contractors in that area so used RP. Wayne’s price was very competitive and detailed. I would like to state that Ken has been very helpful in trying to meet my high standards. He has had a challenge with 3 different colour grouts white, black & brown. He has also come back 4 times in an attempt to please me. I would like to highly recommend Ken for natural stone jobs as he has done an excellent job of our Kitchen Splashback. Although I am still dissatisfied with our ensuite and will have to get this re-done in the future, I do now have all the gaps filled and feel it is useable. Jason

Cannot recommend highly enough. The work was finished to a really high standard. They were really adaptable when the tiles we had ordered failed to arrive on time. They adjusted their plans and worked really hard to get the work done on time, without compromising on the quality of the finish. They were also really considerate of working around young children, and were very patient with little interruptions from a fascinated six year old!

This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

An excellent job completed on time as expected. Wayne is the only painter I have employed who took the time to remove all the gutters in order to completely paint underneath them. He also cleaned out the gutters before replacing them. I shall certainly recommend him and use him when next I need any future painting.
