I am a fully qualified electrician, including 18th edition and inspecting and testing with over 22 years of experience. I am fully up to date with all health and safety including asbestos awareness trained. I undertake all aspects of work no matter how big or small. I enjoy what i do as i face different challenges on a day to day basis. I'm very friendly and professional and very confident in what i do and have a very high standard of work with great pride as standard. I believe my quotes are very fair and also very competitive. The business i run is solely based on family and friends which i believe this helps deliver the consistent high standards of work and again very competitive prices. Since the start of my career of have taken on anything from small fixes and fault diagnosing,finding to full house rewires including inspecting and testing. I've also supervised sites and multiple teams of electricians. I've also worked on Landlord supplies and communal areas and even worked with mains incoming supply cables whether it be repair or renew. I'm currently working on behalf of councils carrying out upgrades, breakdown works and full rewires under the new 18th edition regulations.

This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Reason for only a 3 star review is as follows. Didn’t rewire a light that said would as said shouldn’t be just plugged in to a socket and was included to be done in the quote. I messaged Chris as the lights timings not set up correctly even though he said he had to send me the instructions so I could do it and I saw him with the instructions but I never got any response so I had to spend time up a ladder sorting myself using guesswork. There were a couple of other issues but out of characters !!

Took my money and never came back. He came over to fix my lights, then interfered with another light that worked completely fine. When this light stopped working he said it needed a new bulb, after replacing the bulb it didn't work so he said he would come back the next day. He didn't show up and hasn't answers my calls or texts and has my money!

Sam and his team did a great job with a full rewire of a house for me. They have done everything I asked at a reasonable price even with a couple of small changes during the job. I have also had two of my neighbours say how respectful they had been towards them, in regards to unavoidable noise and van parking. Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance
