This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

• Hugh is a fantastic electrician! The most thorough by far! which is great, i have a small child and one on the way and i wanted everything to be a safe as possible. Reason for only a 3 star review is as follows. Didn’t rewire a light that said would as said shouldn’t be just plugged in to a socket and was included to be done in the quote. I messaged Chris as the lights timings not set up correctly even though he said he had to send me the instructions so I could do it and I saw him with the instructions but I never got any response so I had to spend time up a ladder sorting myself using guesswork. There were a couple of other issues but out of characters !!

BEWARE!! Hired Nell to fit Magnet kitchen, electrical sockets, appliances, tiling and decorating. He started then said would have to complete in a week because of job after mine. Worked for just over a week, then did not turn up. I chased him, he said would return next week, then ignored me. I queried with Nell about Elec Cert and he said he would not come back! Left me with mess! Cut units wrong so cupboards all wrong depth! Elec wires hanging exposed from wall! Terrible joins and workmanship..DO NOT HIRE!

Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

It is true and I have ALL photo evidence of the job you did. Also video evidence of you saying you took photos as that’s what you do when you’ve finished a job. You never asked for any money and you only spoke to my partner on the stairs. We were in the living room when you left. Plus why would I pay you on the first day when as you said it was a 4 day job but it was supposed to be a 2/3 day job. You’ve done hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
