We couldn't recommend Chris & Ronnie (Thistle Dhu Fine) enough. Not only was the job (building a mezzanine bed with cupboards & shelving, & fitting a hardwood floor in our box room) done to a beautifully high standard (way surpassing our expectations), but they were excellent communicators - keeping in touch & sending us pics throughout the build; fast working & punctual; tidy, respectful, courteous & polite; + super reasonable. Quoted a good price and visited quickly to review damage. Arrived a few days later and completed all work in one day. A couple attended and one fixed gaps with wood filler and sanded excess off while the other painted…They worked fast a whole day no breaks or drink offered. They tool a full day for £100 each. Excellent would have them again.

I want to express my disappointment with Charles from JnC Groundworks. I had written the review with the promise that he would return the following Monday to remove all leftover materials (which was part of the contract). This did not happen. Someone arrived over 2 months later to clear the leftovers but still left 2 pallets on my front lawn! This pitiful attempt to clear the leftovers only happened after many emails and phone calls, which he tried to ignore! DON'T pay until the job is FULLY completed!!

Graham fixed my outdoor Christmas lights, but we didn’t test them before he left. I specifically requested roof gutter lights, which required a tall ladder. Later, the gutter lights didn’t work. After paying a significant amount, I politely asked Graham to return. His shocking response was that he couldn’t come until Tuesday, there’d be an extra charge, and suggested I ask a neighbor or window cleaner. His lack of empathy and care was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend him due to his indifferent attitude.
