Dan very polite, punctual and helpful - did really good job on our gate and also fitted a small piece of fencing for us (which we hadn't requested in our original enquiry) to match the gate. All of the window sills internally he done for me where really bad also. He did give me £100 refund. But that didnt even cover the cost for a building notice. Dave is a nice genuine fella who did go out of his wat to come back and clean windows and showed willingness. Everyone has there bad days so hopefully this was just one of Dave's. Steve responded to the and straight away and came round to provide a free quote the day after. It took under 5 mins for him to assess the problem and tell us what the problem was, as soon as the part was ordered he came back 2 days later to fit and the job took about an hour. George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Ryan Cohen, DO NOT USE this plumber as he is untrustworthy & uncommuniative, I paid him a substantial deposit and no work has been done to fit Central Heating. I have been unable to get my deposit back & don't get any replies to my messages. I also gave him the option of still doing the job with no response. Meanwhile the house renovation is stopped with no hot water or heating! :-) Didn't want to give any stars but post wouldn't complete without,

Did a reasonable job of the actual repairs but hired scaffolders who left equipment blocking our garden gate, driveway and public path for over 6 weeks. Tom started ignoring calls and texts and wouldn't supply the contact details of the scaffolders. Only emailing Tom with a threat of reporting them to the HSE prompted any action. While Tom can't be held responsible for the scaffolders, his lack of communication or support was a huge letdown

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers.
