I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. I am very happy with Richard, he was polite, informative, reliable as he turned up on time. Attention to detail, as he measured everything twice to make sure it was correct. He even tidied up after himself. The lights look amazing and the extra socket he added is a godsend as I've used it twice already. I'd certainly recommend Richard. They both worked very hard and I had no issue with giving them my house keys to get on with the job whilst I was at work. They were very trustworthy. Not very happy. The company (Paul) didnt finish the job and I had to pay out more than I had withheld (£50) to another tradesman to complete the job. The work that was completed was satisfactory but in view of the job not being finished cannot rate them well. Also never got my keys back despite numerous pleas. Not reliable at all.

They turned up without any materials and we had difficulty getting any. The fence has been put up in a bad way with short posts, and screws dangerously protruding through to next door. My old patio was not taken up as quoted, and new slabs were laid over the top. It is not level and slopes forward & sideways with a bump in the middle. Slabs are uneven, the built step has all broken away, as there is little support under it. And the grouting has gaps and different grouts used. Too many other probs to list.

Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

The balcony repair lasted just under 3 months before it started cracking & crumbling again. Adam said he would come back & fix it. He stated that the building was moving (!) & could only be patched. A surveyor said there were no signs of subsidence. The paint repair job lasted one month...now cracked & crumbling again with insurers saying cheap materials were used...

According to these trades people their installation is guaranteed for two years. Since the installation of our decking things have gone wrong and I have tried on several occasions to get them back to put things right. I arranged for a rep that we purchased the composite decking from to come to the house ( he travelled from the north of England ) to explain to them where they had gone wrong. They could not even be bothered to turn up for the appointment. Texts/phone calls just being ignored. Stay clear !!

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful
