The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. We were most fortunate that we found Dave Minton; he was personable and easy to deal with from the outset, did what he promised and achieved a high standard of meticulous workmanship throughout. Timekeeping was spot on, the workforce was polite, cheerful and efficient at all times. Project management was fine, it was clear what was going to be done on site each day. The chaps were and are very professional, honest (rare nowadays) polite, approachable, friendly and trustworthy. The extension they built for us was completed within the suggested time frame to a high standard. They were only too happy to answer questions and keep us upto date with the progress. They are customer focused and have great pride in their work considerate trust worthy with a full understanding of job requirements to the customer's needs. Pleasant excellent work force with a full complement of workers all quality tradesmen including (electricians carpenters, plasters, plumbers etc) Yes, I took references before my extension started, all of which said similar things, which is a bonus and reassurning when working within a budget . All work undertaken was checked by local Council building surveyors with no problems found. If you require building work done check Weddington's out before making your final decision. Yet another triumph for the two Gary's! In less than two days they have transformed a front garden I was ashamed of to one I can be proud of and that people comment on. An unwieldy hedge was quickly removed and taken away, ditto the untidy gravel and replaced with very neat and attractive blocks.
