We exchanged a few messages before he came to do the work, he always responded promptly and even offered to come to provide a temporary fix before he was free to carry out the actual job. Another job was cancelled, and he fitted my job in early even though it was his birthday. He did an excellent job of replacing my fence posts under difficult conditions and even went the extra mile in a couple of aspects. On top of this he comes across as a lovely bloke. 6 stars.

"The man is non-stop!" Taff was fantastic, working solidly through each day and through the week to get the job done by the deadline - no nipping off for other jobs. The job evolved during the week (it turned out the floor also needing refitting due to blown tiles and sub-standard base), but Taff was able to adapt and we ended up with a much better outcome. The building work and the new kitchen was the biggest project undertaken so far on our first home and we wanted to ensure that we had a builder with whom we could work along with well. From the outset we have been impressed with the professional approach not just in the actual work but in all your communications with us, be it emails, quotations or invoices. Everything was explained in a detailed and understandable manner. Given the age of our property (a Victorian terrace) and our prior experience of having discovered areas of questionable DIY(!), we were not surprised that unforeseen problems arose with the kitchen. These were dealt with in the same professional way and with the least amount of trouble to us. When we have further projects to complete on our home, we will definitely contact for a quotation.

The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. Probuild handled all the planning aspects on our behalf and his workmen were polite, cheerful and above all really knew what they were doing. I strongly recommend Kerrigan and team. I've had varied experience on Rated People in the past, but didn't want to leave tradesmen bad feedback. I have no such worry with DCP Lettings. They turn up when they say they will, work was completed at a good fair price and to a high standard. Kerrigan and team are courteous, polite, diligent and mindful of their work.
