BEWARE!! Hired Nell to fit Magnet kitchen, electrical sockets, appliances, tiling and decorating. He started then said would have to complete in a week because of job after mine. Worked for just over a week, then did not turn up. I chased him, he said would return next week, then ignored me. I queried with Nell about Elec Cert and he said he would not come back! Left me with mess! Cut units wrong so cupboards all wrong depth! Elec wires hanging exposed from wall! Terrible joins and workmanship..DO NOT HIRE!

Took 4 months to repair water damage to living room ceiling. Small damp testing holes left unfilled in walls. After 6 months they are either unable or unwilling to give me the value of the insurance claim for me to get new policy quotes. Regretfully I cannot recommend using this company.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. 2 storey extension ok initially organising others to come in and do work, had contract & payment plan from outset but as work went on communication became worse sometimes didn't turn up, no replies to messages etc ..no eye for detail in finishes had to get others to finish or put right his work.

I am sorry to say that after doing one job well for us Keith proved untrustworthy when we left him the key to our house to refurb the kitchen while we were on holiday. It seemed like a good idea. Wrong! The story is long and he has his 'excuses'. We felt let down and put at risk when he subcontracted all the work to people we didn't know, gave them our alarm code and left the key with them too. IF he does the work it's okay but we wouldnt dream of engaging him again. Sorry Keith.

Job started off well but there were issues afterwards. Walls are not level, the pointing is not right and the opening of the doorway is way out of level. They have not filled in block work joints on the outside and rainwater is seeping in. I have to pay for another bricklayer to put everything right. Would I recommend these guys? No chance.

DPG are a two man operation who seemed friendly and personable. They took £50 cash in advance for cutting the lawn and weeding as I had to work. They cut the lawn but did not weed or finish edging. I text for them to finish the job and they said they would come. However, they didn't turn up as agreed. They have avoided my calls for over a week now and failed to reply to all further calls/voicemail/texts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
