Girenas was very thorough, spending half an hour measuring and calculating before even offering a quote. The quote seemed very reasonable and we accepted him to do our work - boxing in a boiler in the kitchen. The walls were very uneven and Girenas spent the time and attention to individually cut the wooden supports so that they would fit the curves of the wall. Attention to detail was superb and has resulted in a top quality cupboard unit to cover our boiler. Would definitely recommend him.

Gave me best value options for the job and completed to a very high standard. Also did a few other bits like replacing missing tiles and making my cracked ceiling look new again. Peter and Patrick were excellent tradesmen, they were punctual and worked long days to get the job completed in a short space of time. Dean did an excellent job replacing all my internal doors. He did a very neat job and tidied up along the way. The price was reasonable in comparison with other quotes I had. We did hit a snag with the frames - not Dean's fault - but he returned at the weekend to fix the problem. Communication was very good - quick and easy - and he always turned up on time.

Following my earlier comment, we managed to sort out another appointment to quote and Charles Farrar did the work on my three floors to an excellent standard. I would now recommend them, but do remind them to take away the sawdust as the frail bin liner they left it in collapsed when I tried to lift it into my bin.

I used AGL to decorate my 5 bedroom house in W12 in April 2014. The standard of the work was excellent. They are experienced and were able to come up with practical solutions to issues that arose. They were able to carry out addition electrical and plumbing work. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They repsonded promptly to calls and emails. AGL were trustworthy and reliable and I have since made several recommendations to friends. I would definitely use them again.

Oli is superb. Tidy, conscious, and adaptable. He stripped out the plasterboard walls and studwork in our home prior to remodelling. He worked quickly and confidently and respected our home. Whilst stripping out he came across some asbestos and he dealt with it appropriately, contacting an asbestos registered colleague and bagging it up and safety removing it at a very reasonable cost. We plan on using him again soon

They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

We have had bad experiences with builders in the past so we were naturally cautious when we were looking for builders to do renovations to our property. We inspected at least 6 properties that Zal Builders worked on and we were impresses with the standard of work we saw. These two builders are very competent at their skill; they are neat and clean and very professional. The structure of the work they completed is very sturdy and the standard of the decorations is of a very high specification. They offered us valuable advice about materials and designs. Perfect - is all I can say. Gave me a quote as part of an insurance claim. They are really diligent; hard working and actually did more than I expected them to do. They quoted 5 to 7 days to do the work but it suited us all for them to spend a couple of hours longer than normal to get the work done in 5 days rather than come back after the weekend. I'm thrilled. I'm hoping they'll come back again if/when I have more work for them. They'd be most welcome and I'd be assured of a great job.
