This was a small job to demolish a brick pillar at front of my house affected by root growth and rebuild a new pillar. He then fixed a plasterboard problem that was not his to fix, before getting on with his tiling job. Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.
