Daniel and Alex from Criteria have restored my faith in builders. They were very friendly (no hard sell) and helped to assess the job that I needed with very useful hints and tips. The one point I liked the most was the way they worked. Very neat and tidy and with attention to detail. I suppose I am fussy but I believe that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing properly. It has been great to find guys that actually seem to have pride in what they do and I would recommend them very highly.

The work was delivered in a timely way and to a very high standard. The guys were always cleaning up after themselves and always left the site clean and tidy. Bogumil was very efficient, he responded quickly to my advert of laying laminate flooring. He undertook the work the next day and done a great job. Clean and tidy, and was happy to get on with the job, he didn't even stop for a cup of tea. I'll be sure to use his services again.

George was on time and fitted two of the three blinds but that was due to the structure of the wall and window which was out of his control. He fitted a curtain pole on the window frame instead. The only thing to improve on is not to use a bed with white covers as a holding place for tools or other materials. The blinds job was great! Thank you :)

I went for Huttons as he was the better rated and experienced of the other quotes. We are very pleased with the bookcase. We did have a number of hiccups and this is where I rate them best. Without complaint, issues were sorted out / corrected - I was not left in any way feeling awkward or anything. Often I think it is how a tradesman responds to the hiccups that sets them apart from the others, as not every job is smooth. That is why I would highly recommend them, because if you do have an issue, I can assure you it will be sorted out.
