I am very disappointed with James' work.He knew before he started what needed doing. He seemed to panic about everything. He estimated that the job would take two days (Monday & Tuesday) At 4pm on Tuesday he said that he was going and would be back on SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!! I told him, in no uncertain terms what I thought about that and he stayed until 8pm to finish the job. The job, to install new worktops is far from perfect. The sink is set in at a slight angle and the worktops are not straight. I realise that I should have complained and withheld payment but I was so upset by the end that I couldn't face it. I am elderly, disabled and live alone. Why do tradesmen think that it is OK to take us for a ride?

In a nutshell Mr Scales was god sent! I urgently needed decking done to an unusually shaped area of the garden and also tidying up of some unfinished work by a previous workman. Kevin did a remarkable job with the lot. He arrived at the times he said he would, waited to discuss anything he thought I needed to consent on and was very careful not to damage any of my pots & plants. Tom Humphries and his team recently built our new porch & relayed our patio. Excellent quality work, reliable & very knowledgeable tradesmen. The porch has a vaulted ceiling with spot lights, shelving and very nice rounded brickwork steps up to the front door. The original patio had steps - it was dug out and re-layed to one level, in just a few days. Regular skips meant there was never any mess. The whole team went the extra mile so everything was perfect. Very pleased with everything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Some small issues with the varnish and stain colouring on some planks but this was down to the actual wood itself and not the job. Nevertheless the manager came round to have a look and then sanded and re-did the particular planks until he was satisfied that there was nothing more that could be done save for removing the wood itself, proper dedication to a good job.

Florin did a good job for my elderly mother in June. However, the pump that he installed stopped working 2 months ago and despite numerous calls, texts and emails, he has failed to respond. The pump is guaranteed and he has the paperwork so we are stuck. Very poor after care which has totally changed my initial view.

Peter successfully completed the plumbing part of the job to a very high standard. However this did not resolve the issue which could only have been an electrical problem. Luckily for me Peter is also a well qualified and capable electrician so I asked him to fault find a particularly difficult and random problem. This he did in a methodical, logical and timely manner.
