He was 100% reliable and was onsite daily, always happy to give guidance and advice and worked tirelessly to ensure our building went to plan. Came around and got measurements, went away and sent over quote for the job very quickly. Had another that was q touch cheaper however, from the conversation I had, believed that the job would be of a better quality through D&S and was glad with my decision. No one turned up. One person said he would come and see what was involved. As usual with this site, no one came. Eventually a friend came with a 3 year old. He wouldn't take any money but the 3 year old had 2 sausages and an ice lolly. .

Bejay Shakespeare took £420 for a bathroom leak repair he falsely claimed was complete. That same night the leak worsened, flooding my kitchen. He repeatedly promised to return, then failed to show and ignored all calls and messages. He left the bathroom filthy, stained carpets, and made the problem worse than before. This was disgraceful, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs – I am demanding a full refund and compensation for the damage he caused.

No response to any attempts at communication once I had paid. No key sent for the new lock I had fitted. Another locksmith had to come out to sort out eh lock and said it was a bad job.

Mark’s/assistant’s work was good. Some skirting had staple holes. He was informative and professional while quoting. Our requirement for replacing coving got ignored. Comms were sketchy, phone notifications were turned off often and we waited days for a reply. The job was posted as urgent and from first contact to completion took over three weeks, this was frustrating. We accept that he and his partner were unwell within this time frame for approx three days.

although we didn't choose Steve to do the job, I would like to say that he arrived promptly and gave an itemised quote within 12 hours. he was also very cheerful despite the freezing cold day, and we wish him well with his business in the future. I cannot really rate steves work as I haven't seen it hence the 'satisfactory' and I have rated his reliability based on his prompt contact and quote.
