FANTASTIC - called viewed job Thursday and quoted and could start work today. Met up bought the goods which was helpful so I knew I had the right materials. Came today 30 mins earlier - not a problem - and he worked like a trojan, carefully, respectfully, tidied up after himself and even did a few more small jobs on top of what he quoted for. Cleared up, reasonably priced. Lovely friendly fellow and he's coming back for other jobs I have lined up. You can't go wrong with Michali. Great carpenter.

Perfect - is all I can say. Gave me a quote as part of an insurance claim. They are really diligent; hard working and actually did more than I expected them to do. They quoted 5 to 7 days to do the work but it suited us all for them to spend a couple of hours longer than normal to get the work done in 5 days rather than come back after the weekend. I'm thrilled. I'm hoping they'll come back again if/when I have more work for them. They'd be most welcome and I'd be assured of a great job.

Shockingly bad. Given option 0f new skirting boards/existing ones. Stuart said old ones were fine, quoted to prep the walls, clear the glue off the old skirtings and do a really neat job. It was bad, he used four tubes of filler to fill gaps, no neat corking edge but smudged over the walls, corking over the floor, some skirtings fell off, I think he tried to use corking as glue. I gave him an opportunity to rectify before posting this rating, but he just made excuses. Chris

Although Paul initially replied to the quote promptly and did the job on the same day; we were left with a hole in the wall from the fixing of the blinds. Again, Paul was initially apologetic and offered to fix the problem; however he subsequently did not turn up to the house on the day he was going to come and has for 2 weeks not responded to polite emails, text messages or picked up telephone calls. Although I didn't have the job done in the end (as the council had sorted the pipes whilst I applied for help) I just wanted to say that I did get a very quick reply, from Tom and he had been willing to come the very next day and give me a quote. Even though I explained it was a small job and as I'm disabled he'd have to do all the measuring up. He was still willing to come and at a time to suit me, so he deserves a few stars for helpfulness. Also for putting up with me canceling the job on the day after having second thoughts. I was not aware he'd had to pay rated people for my details. Which I think should be that they only pay if they get work! So thank you for your efforts. I obviously can't really comment on the quality of their work or their value but I give full marks for reliability for the quick call and offer to come the next morning to see the job. I will certainly be keeping their number for any work I need in the future.

Sadly as much as the extension looks fine on the outside, there have been too many issues behind the scenes that we have had to get remedied, which has been a huge additional ongoing cost to us. The team are not experts and will not do a thorough job. We have recently had to deal with a big health and safety electrical issue due to their inability to do things properly. We now wish we that we had engaged someone else.

Poor contact, I was doing all the chasing. Flooring cut short in places, new shower fitted leaking. Jack advised date to fit bath panel and towel rail then cancelled. Has worked out very expensive because I have paid for a heated towel rail and bath panel that has not been supplied or fitted. When job was agreed in June, Jack said he was fully booked for 2 weeks, now August and no sign of completion and no contact from him. Would I recommend Bathly Plumbers? NEVER

He viewed the job, agreed the price, took a whole day to board a small ceiling and start one of the 5 door linings. i trusted and paid the lion share of the job, wrong decision i guess, as this is what followed, he assured me he would come back the following Saturday, but then the excuses started to flow, my boss has asked me to work, its my anniversary etc... No show on the next Sat either, has blocked my number also? AVOID at all costs

I have now had to gut out the bathroom due to major damp issues and flooding as Lloyd used normal plasterboards (not waterproof) in the bathroom which were disintegrating in addition to the tiles falling off. The leaks came from his pipework from the toilet/basin/shower and most importantly, he fitted an isolation switch for the electric shower INSIDE the bathroom which is against regulations and did not create a separate shower circuit to the RCD box with its own MCB. Fortunate to have no fatalities!
