Our brief was complex. ProHome spent a lot of time and effort in the consultation and planning process before we even committed to using them for the job. Once we had agreed a plan of works (which also included replacement of Soffits, Fascias and Guttering) they carried this out in a very efficient and professional manner. The end result is amazing, the driveway looks superb (and flat!) and its given the whole house a facelift. A professional job by true professionals. Highly recommended.

The poor review I posted wasn't about the later repairs. It was about the inital calls and emails I made which took a week to confirm the original work date ( poor reliability) and the difference in value between actual materials used and labour (quality and value) .

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

after first contact by email to arrange a call back , we discussed on phone details of the job informed someone might call to look at site sounded good and promising, nothing since! no show , no calls, no emails. the description was clear and the job defined in the advert. Service level offered poor in contact terms , not what I was told and expected from such a large company . Time wasting from 1st reply.

This man turned up very late on the first day - held up by buying parts he needed for a job. He then didn't finish the job and gave a confused explanation about what parts he needed to buy and why - this was a simple light fitting change. He turned up with out a step stool/ladder. He then offered to come and finish the next day, gently proposing he was going to loose money on the job. I went round to meet him at the tenanted property and took my own tools. He ran late - buying stuff for another job.

Very dissapointed with the standard of work carried out in my bathroom, several holes were left in the ceiling and the overall job was of a poor standard which had to be finished by a 'QUALIFIED' electrician.
