Greg is a pleasant and well mannered electrician. He completed a rewire of our house to bring it up to standard. We paid in full, on basis that he would return to complete work and rectify faults. Left several messages and gave several months (almost a year) to respond by phone or email. No response so we got a reputable electrician to inspect, and he found several faults with work which is still not finished. Considerable extra cost now to correct. Happy to provide evidence to support this review.

Chris and his crew were wonderful. The 2 men who did the bulk of the work were hardworking and cleaned up after themselves really well. The job was done to a high standard and started and finished on time. We would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I have worked for years with a number of different experienced tradesmen and can complete any renovation job in a timely managed manner. Anthony explained what he intended to do and demonstrated alternative LED lights to us very professionally. He checked everything for safety and replaced parts as needed. Anthony made a verbal quote based on costs of parts and three hours labour and still charged for 3 hours labour although he spent just over an hour on the job. He stated that the extra cost was due to time spent collecting the parts.

Mark is a nice guy but out of his depth when installed an EV charger. He installed a charger I supplied wrong causing it to set fire. He was given multiple goes at fixing it first and then replacing it but also replaced it incorrectly causing that one to blow. I’m now >£1300 out of pocket and rising due to having to use public chargers and loss off smart off peak electricity rates. I have no choice but to take him to court now.

We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. Ryan got the quote wrong from the being. Turned up with the wrong stuff on the day! The we rearranged id changed the brief asked him to re-quote as he got it wrong the first time! He text me in the morning with some excuse but it turned out with a flurry of text messages he decided he didn't want to do the job! unprofessional time waster. I wouldn't recommend him at all. Couldn't get the original quote right! I went against my partner who wanted him fired off after the first few problems!! never again.

Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

PB installed a new Velux window where an old skylight had been positioned. The job turned out to be more complicated than first anticipated. However, PBs staff stayed as long as the task took (working into the dark and coming back the next day) and charged no extra. after first contact by email to arrange a call back , we discussed on phone details of the job informed someone might call to look at site sounded good and promising, nothing since! no show , no calls, no emails. the description was clear and the job defined in the advert. Service level offered poor in contact terms , not what I was told and expected from such a large company . Time wasting from 1st reply.
