Greg is a pleasant and well mannered electrician. He completed a rewire of our house to bring it up to standard. We paid in full, on basis that he would return to complete work and rectify faults. Left several messages and gave several months (almost a year) to respond by phone or email. No response so we got a reputable electrician to inspect, and he found several faults with work which is still not finished. Considerable extra cost now to correct. Happy to provide evidence to support this review.
I have been in the trade for 30 years and have carried out a huge number of successful renovations from full house conversions to bathrooms, wetrooms, and ensuites. I have worked for years with a number of different experienced tradesmen and can complete any renovation job in a timely managed manner. Anthony explained what he intended to do and demonstrated alternative LED lights to us very professionally. He checked everything for safety and replaced parts as needed. Anthony made a verbal quote based on costs of parts and three hours labour and still charged for 3 hours labour although he spent just over an hour on the job. He stated that the extra cost was due to time spent collecting the parts.

Mark is a nice guy but out of his depth when installed an EV charger. He installed a charger I supplied wrong causing it to set fire. He was given multiple goes at fixing it first and then replacing it but also replaced it incorrectly causing that one to blow. I’m now >£1300 out of pocket and rising due to having to use public chargers and loss off smart off peak electricity rates. I have no choice but to take him to court now.

We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. The job was completed as I expected and he told me to get in touch if I had any subsequent problems. No problems so fae!

Ryan got the quote wrong from the being. Turned up with the wrong stuff on the day! The we rearranged id changed the brief asked him to re-quote as he got it wrong the first time! He text me in the morning with some excuse but it turned out with a flurry of text messages he decided he didn't want to do the job! unprofessional time waster. I wouldn't recommend him at all. Couldn't get the original quote right! I went against my partner who wanted him fired off after the first few problems!! never again.

Don't hire - he quotes price (that then increases once he's started work), doesn't show up for weeks on end - despite promises to come, Then, after payment, disappears and ghosts the customer leaving the job unfinished - AVOID!
