After meeting Paul only once I was comfortable enough to be able to handover the keys to the house (which is 200 miles away from where I now live) and let Paul get on with the job (painting all walls and woodwork, replacing carpets and floor tiles, and general maintenance jobs around the house). Paul did a fantastic job, was very competitively priced, and stuck to price originally quoted.

This was a two-stage project. The proprietor was keen to keep me informed with progress, issues deadlines etc and as such I always felt I was an integral part of the project. The standard of finish cannot be faulted with highly professional and friendly workmen being utilised for the work. Any post-build snags were quickly dealt with no quibble. I would highly recommend High and Dry.

It was a pleasure to have Sam install our bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble and he even called 2 days before the start date to check all was OK and proceeded to fit a new gate valve to enable me to disconnect the old suite. He also collected bathroom fittings for us to save a 30 mile round trip. He worked hard on the installation to finish it as soon as possible but maintained a very high quality of finish. He made suggestions to improve the final appearance which were very welcome.

Freddie & Freddie spent two days in the cold weather taming my very overgrown garden. They expertly and safely cut down and removed a 10yr old field maple tree sited next to a 6ft wooden fence, having dug deep to remove the stump and major roots. They also removed a large bush and overgrown briar rose and weeded between shrubs, pruning as requested, and rotovated all the overgrown borders . All the garden waste was taken away. I am delighted with the result of their hard work. For me it was excellent value.

We had a huge renovation on our hands, so house full of builders, plumbers, electricians and then Michael and his young apprentice. He was the only consistently reliable worker and all of his work was totally to highest specifications. He even bailed out the builder a few times. Couldn't have wished for a better plasterer.

Been looking for a window cleaner for a long time and I put a request out and Scott replied very quickly. I expected a manual window cleaner with ladder and cloth. However, a large brush with an extension was used to reach all windows and they use purified water (blemish free). The windows look really lovely and dried crystal clear (it rained after they left!). Window frames were also cleaned. Gutters were also cleaned with a vacuum to remove moss. Would recommend. Nice people. Thumbs up!

Steve took on the task of renovating and decorating the hallway and landing of our Victorian house. A very delicate job which Steve did a fantastic job on. The attention to detail is fantastic!! The job took 2 weeks and having Steve here was nothing intrusive at all. Highly highly recommend Steve. Very happy with my flooring. I would recommend using idyllic floors if you want no hassle and your flooring in quickly. Mine was fitted in a day and I've noticed a lot of fitters quote days to fit. Which doesn't help if you get one day off a week from work or you want it done in a weekend. Mine was a big flat. Very happy and would defo use them again and recommend to friends and family
