Appalling. We arranged for him to start stairs and landing bedroom and other gloss painting. We were given a date with 4 week wait. During this time stripped walls moved bedroom furniture and removed carpets. He advised where to get wallpaper etc and was contactable till a week before start date when I was ringing mobile and texting for how many rolls of paper to get. NO RESPONSE TO LOTS OF MESSAGES AND TEXTS. HE DID RESPOND. HE HAS NO WEBSITE OR PREMISES. BEWARE GO TO RELIABLE DECORATOR.

No response to any attempts at communication once I had paid. No key sent for the new lock I had fitted. Another locksmith had to come out to sort out eh lock and said it was a bad job.

I found Darren to be friendly and professional. His quotes were reasonable. The jobs changed slightly once the work started and Darren took the time to explain the options. I never said I had rubbed down the stairs myself. Why would I when I paid you to do it? What I said was I had previously rubbed down and decorated staicases years ago at my previous homes. My stairs had pimer undercoat and TWO top coats as recorded in my diary! Pictures unfortunately cannot show how rough the wood is or show what looks like grains of sand embedded in the painted handrail. I've had 2 further opinions of your work and they both say they've never seen such a bad finish by a 'professional'.
