The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.

Dave did a teriffic job clearing up my very overgrown garden and accomplished in just a few hours a job I had been ignoring for months. He was very prompt to reply to my posting and appeared in the garden just a couple of days later. He did such a good job he's coming back to build us a bike shed and sort out the flowerbeds. The team first gave a competative quote for the work. A good start! They turned up on time, and then paid attention to my requirements before starting the job. They worked hard and efficiently together to get the job done. 7:30 AM to 18:00 without a break. The result was to professional standards. Would I recommend them? Yes, very much so! Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

Shortly after finishing our renovation the floor began to lift, after a 2-year battle and almost court they admitted it was a fitting fault. Not ideal for a 12k job. Now our sink has fallen in, turns out he has used the world's smallest bit of wood and some sealant to fix it to the underside of our granite worktops rather than correctly fitting it using the fixings on the actual sink. Add to this, gaps between drawers and misaligned cupboards and you get the idea.

This tiler completed most of the work but failed to turn up to finish the bathroom despite being paid, obviously in retrospect I should not have paid until completion. He does not answer phone or text messages. His colleague did laminate flooring and after they had gone my builder pointed out a lot of bad workmanship.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

Original work in painting walls & ceiling of bedroom was good & we would have given five stars in each category. However, after finishing & being paid in full, the following evening we found a broken blind slat. The reply to my email about this said "I'll pop in tonight on the way home for you". As it was a 'no show', I sent an email saying "As you didn't come this evening, what's the situation?". There has been no response to this and this has affected our ratings in all categories.

Dreamscape Construction Ltd and Dj groundworks appear to bo the same company as Dj groundworks ARRANGED to visit but Dreamscape turned up instead. I was told an estimate would be emailed to me but none ever arrived.
