He took pride in his work and was very hard working. Not all walls had finish skim, plaster came of in many places when touched with paint or filler. Left many dried streaks of PVA down newly plastered wall. Little respect for property. Ignored several requests to make good. Cost of repairs to plastered area and other parts of property will be more than double job cost, whether this be labour or materials. 2 stars are for first days where walls finished to a better standard on the whole.

At no time were you told not to tile that area, that is absurd, why would we want an area not tiled. On the quote it was stated that you would remove old tiles and make good walls, having spoken to 4 companies since they all stated the same, this would mean plastering the same, we paid extra for this. Something to be considered when writing your quotes. The receipts for materials, second amount, never materialised. You were paid in full regardless.

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend them and we have just agreed to a further round of work for them to undertake as we are so pleased.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

Job started off well but there were issues afterwards. Walls are not level, the pointing is not right and the opening of the doorway is way out of level. They have not filled in block work joints on the outside and rainwater is seeping in. I have to pay for another bricklayer to put everything right. Would I recommend these guys? No chance.
