Hello everyone! I have been working in building trade over 40 years. Have experience in various building trades, and have been concentrating on plumbing for the last 15 years. I worked in different European countries, which gave me opportunities to learn different techniques and explore how people do things in different places. Edit description At Harris renovations we take on everything from big extensions to small plastering jobs, we have built up a very good name in the Portsmouth area and now looking to expand & reach out to new customers. You can see from our joining date that we have not been on rated people for long but please don't be put off by this as we have been regulated and part of chekatrade for over 10 years and our ratings & profile page speaks for itself. Extensions are the main source of work we generate, we love to get involved as we complete 90% of the work ourselves and its easy for me to project manage them to ensure that they run as smoothly as possible, I only bring in sub-contractors for the work that I am not certified to carry out. I have worked on small jobs with local customers, commercial sites with huge companies. Recently a big achievement for Harris Renovations was being selected by the Sarah beanie show with our work being shown on national tv so timescales and pressure to meet deadlines are something that we are very familiar with. I am hoping to use rated people to branch out and meet some new clients and hopefully build a strong profile on here so people can see our gallery & get some good quality building work carried out. A little bit about me, my father was a builder and worked alongside his brothers for many years in a successful building company, i joined them when i left school, i enrolled into a 3 year city & guilds plastering course, followed by NVQ levels in carpentry & bricklaying along the way I've gained many other building skills that allow me to build these extensions without relying on other trades, I generally take on 1 job at a time so everyone gets treated fairly, I'm not one of them builders to take a job on and pass it to stranger, if you give me a chance to price or take one of your jobs on then I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
