Initially I was only going to have Decking done in my garden. After Andrew came and saw my garden he gave me a different idea and provided with me a scatch of paving and deck to transform my garden into some thing different. After he has done this it looks so nice. He transformed my garden completely. He is a very hard working gentleman. Very pleased with newly installed sliding patio doors. The 2 gentlemen who installed it, were polite,friendly and helpful. They left the area clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the lock, and they duly reported it to Louis Harbison. He came today to replace it but the barrel of the lock seems ok now. He is keeping the replacement barrel in case I have any more trouble. I would recommend this company for any work to be done

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.

Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.

Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.
