We cannot recommend Gordon highly enough. He is fastidious with his work and completed the 2 rooms that he decorated for us to absolute perfection in a short amount of time. Nothing is too much trouble for him. At the end of each day he tidied each room, so much so that you would almost not know he had been there! He is efficient and his time keeping is true to his word. They were extremely considerate of the fact that we were living in the property at the time with children - they tidied up daily. A 1st class job done. James was very reliable and helpful. He took my old carpet and underlay up for me (which i said i would have got up before he came) and also moved my wardrobe without wanting any extra money. He also took it all away. He worked continuously till he finished the job and made sure i was happy with it before he left. As far as i am concerned he did a great job at a great price and went the extra mile. Not worth 5 star rating, in my opinion. Cancelled appointment 30 minutes before due time. Came out twice, first time to take a look, second time to bring sample. Said he would get back to with price with expected start next week. Heard nothing, he finally answered one of my texts saying didn't reply as materials had gone up and the job would cost another £1000. Did not even have the courtesy of letting me decide if it was too much to pay or to choose something less expensive. Very disappointed.
