Paul is a very polite, professional trademans focused on delivering quality work that meets the customer's satisfaction. He offered advice that helped inform the design of the bathroom and completed the works within budget. Paul was very responsive to requests and was able to adapt his work when other suppliers let me down. Having not used 'Rated People' or Paul before, I was a little cautious however, I would definately recommend and use both services in the future.

The service was excellent. Artur came the day after I posted the job (the Friday), and true to his word, he and his team started the job on the Monday. The work was of excellent quality. They worked very cleanly, even going beyond the point of duty, moving articles out of the way. The work was completed within a week as promised and was of exceptional quality. We have had bad experiences with builders in the past so we were naturally cautious when we were looking for builders to do renovations to our property. We inspected at least 6 properties that Zal Builders worked on and we were impresses with the standard of work we saw. These two builders are very competent at their skill; they are neat and clean and very professional. The structure of the work they completed is very sturdy and the standard of the decorations is of a very high specification. They offered us valuable advice about materials and designs. We have brought in a professional builder and he has diagnosed that the wrong materials for a wetroom was used and substandard at that. We now have to remove the new tiles and start again. This means we need to purchase more tiles and more materials and re do the work done.

This company was highly responsive to my request; an emergency situation that had left a vulnerable elderly mum without water or heating. From posting my request on Rated People on a Sunday, within half an hour the company responded, visited the property later that day and provided a quote. Within 48 hours the job had been completed to a high standard and an additional job on request relating to fixing a toilet. Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance

Nice bloke, but after the first day of hanging wallpaper my wife had concerns. The cutting of edges were all over the place. Not a straight edge anywhere. I tried to make excuses for Alan as our walls are not perfect. However, on the 2nd day to do a small feature wall, I have to say that even I am really disappointed. Again, no straight cuts and also gaps in the joins. I honestly wish I had taken the time to do it myself.

Work was finished to a good standard, only issue now is we have no part P certificate for electrical work or confirmation a steel is coated in a heat resistant paint, plumb smart are refusing to answer calls, court action pending. If Plumb smart are doing your electrics check certificates, wish we had, was a shame to end on this note, no complaints re the rest of it.
