The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

Norman and the guys turned up ready to work last Saturday morning and it was not long before they had the system drained and the old thermal store removed. They then began the complicated task of plumbing in an unvented hot water cylinder into the existing circuit. When they finished they diligently cleaned up and made sure everything was polished. I would highly recommend this firm even for the most complicated work required. THANKS GUYS.

Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

I received a prompt response for my job posted. I had a leak in my bathroom and it was identified that the water was leaking through the silicon seal. The job didn't take that long to redo the silicon and only a part of silicon was removed and redone. In three weaks it again started leaking from the same area as it was not done properly. I wouldn't have worried paying £90 for that job if it had not occurred again. However, I had to hire someone to redo the silicon layer again. Which is a bit disappointing.

I work mostly on my own and have very little overheads as I am a very small company meaning my prices are relatively low compared to your "bigger" companies with more overheads. I have good relationships with suppliers meaning I can usually get you the same product, cheaper. Yes, I pass on the discount to the customer! Which is probably one of the bigger reasons why I am usually a cheaper option. Yes, being on my own (most of the time, depends on the size of the job) can mean jobs take slightly longer I have to admit however, I promise you will get the same standard of job, if not better for less cost to you. I am very confident at what I do. It is all I have ever done since leaving school and I do take great pride in the work I do, if I am not 100% confident that I can give you a great result, I simply won't do it and will recommend someone who can for example, cutting a stone worktop. Something I do not have the equipment to do. Doing a good job is important to me because if I don't, you'll give me a bad review and in turn, lose potential work. That is something a very small, local tradesman like myself simply can't afford. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.

The rating was given for the redurb of bathroom however we needed a pump as the shower was not powerful enough . He ordered it and came to fit it .Within 3 days it was blowing fuses every time we used it . Told there was a fault and the supplier would send another. Originally the man was our hero, baby fast approaching and no floor,He priced up the job and came two days later! Fantastic! But then what a turn it took, Lawrence had to come back a second time to do our beading and fit a customized threshold, the beading came away next day and he never did fit the threshold after promising six times he would come, but never did. Real shame as started off so well. He has now blocked us from calling and owes us £50 which i paid in advance, more fool me.

Arrived on time to discuss a quote swapped idea's prices and options. Stated he could do the work for £1100 I asked him to go and check his figuers make me a written quote, I also asked to see a picture of the bath and fitting he intended to use on my bathroom. And for some reason he never phoned or returned with the quote. A complete waste of my time

Rapid response was good, but after that it was downhill all the way. It took most of a day to do what I would expect a competent plumber to be able to do in 2 houirs. In that time he replaced the existing parts with a new syphon. The flush now worked but the bowls was very slow to empty. He left telling me there must be a blockage in the drains and drains were not his area of expertise. Dynorod came out next day and told me the drains were clear and that almost certainly the reason was that this was a siphonic system and the plumber had not supplied an essential part for this type of system. This turned out to be correct when I finally tracked down the missing part and got a different plumber out to fix it. I would advise anyone needing a plumber to look elsewhere.
