Aaron is a keen and very hard working general gardener who I tasked with blitzing my 1/3 acre garden which had become overgrown due to my ill health. He was very prompt and kept to agreed times and worked pretty solidly all the time he was onsite. I was presented with weekly invoices listing the hours done which to my view tended to be rounded down so I never felt more hours were being claimed than completed - in reality quite the reverse. Aaron is a general garden maintenance and tree maintenance operative and freely admits to not being a plantsman or hard landscaper. I needed 800 feet of hedges not just clipped but cut right back from where they had been allowed to grow unchecked for a season - this he did along with rooting up two large areas of overgrown shrubbery very efficiently. he also cut front and rear grass in an afternoon - quite a task when you realise my plot is largly grass and 430 foot in length. The Garden now looks neat and tidy and much larger, more open so the views from the house are now sweeping and a joy once more - the only point I would make is that his enthusiasm and sheer hard work tends to leave a few bits lying around but this is something I am able to sort myself - just a bit of final tidying and certainly if left would not detract from the hugely improved aesthetics all the hard work has delivered. Would I go back to G.M.F.? Definately - in fact I have two more "projects" lined up and have agreed on a 4 hour a week regular visit to keep all in order.

Aaron and the team of 2 did a great job of pruning our cherry tree and it now has a nice shape. They also removed a fir tree at the same time, including root which we were also delighted with. Very efficient, just got on with it, no faffing about and very tidy. I did 4 stars rather than 5 for reliability because they didn't come in the end on the day we arranged and only let me know about 1hr before. Every company can have an off day so we rearranged and they then came as agreed. Very happy with result.

This project was to update my mother in laws downstairs shower room, Derek recommended a retail outlet for the equipment with assistance over choices. Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.
