Aaron is a keen and very hard working general gardener who I tasked with blitzing my 1/3 acre garden which had become overgrown due to my ill health. He was very prompt and kept to agreed times and worked pretty solidly all the time he was onsite. I was presented with weekly invoices listing the hours done which to my view tended to be rounded down so I never felt more hours were being claimed than completed - in reality quite the reverse. Aaron is a general garden maintenance and tree maintenance operative and freely admits to not being a plantsman or hard landscaper. I needed 800 feet of hedges not just clipped but cut right back from where they had been allowed to grow unchecked for a season - this he did along with rooting up two large areas of overgrown shrubbery very efficiently. he also cut front and rear grass in an afternoon - quite a task when you realise my plot is largly grass and 430 foot in length. The Garden now looks neat and tidy and much larger, more open so the views from the house are now sweeping and a joy once more - the only point I would make is that his enthusiasm and sheer hard work tends to leave a few bits lying around but this is something I am able to sort myself - just a bit of final tidying and certainly if left would not detract from the hugely improved aesthetics all the hard work has delivered. Would I go back to G.M.F.? Definately - in fact I have two more "projects" lined up and have agreed on a 4 hour a week regular visit to keep all in order.

Sam was just amazing. We had a major loft conversion and house extension done. At first we just asked him to refit the existing kitchen, which he did brilliantly. Then we asked him to build fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. After that there were a dozen small joinery jobs such as building shelf units at the ends of the baths, boxing in pipes etc. And there was tiling. Everything was done to a very high quality, very quickly, with creative input, and at a very reasonable price. Sam is strongly recommended.

He agreed a fixed price for fixing the toilet that evening which was half of what other plumbers have suggested and it did not matter how long it took fix the toilet. He arrived on time. It was comfortable to have him around the house with young children. There was a problem with the rubber seal as well as the original issue. He still stuck with his original charge agreed on Friday evening and only charged me extra for parts. He's very honest and I would not hesitate to call him again.

This was a small job to demolish a brick pillar at front of my house affected by root growth and rebuild a new pillar. From my initial contact with Greg, til the completion of the job, my experience was excellent. He turned up to quote for the work at the agreed time. The very reasonable quote was given immediately and on acceptance Greg was able to fit in this small job within a few days. He turned up on time, did an excellent job and left the site tidy. Graham arrived exactly when he said he would, with all the necessary materials to lay our bathroom slate floor and ceramic wall tiles. He then fixed a plasterboard problem that was not his to fix, before getting on with his tiling job. He worked 4 days solidly, right through to Sunday, to complete the job to our deadline, without any complaint or extra weekend charge. Our tiles look beautiful and I can't wait to use our new bathroom. I wish our builder was as helpful and reliable!! Thank you Graham.

Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.
