The joint would need to be redone and possibly some pipework alterations I wouldn't recommend using the same fitting as it has already failed
Water pipe issue

I have a water leak. Water turned off at stopcock.
Found disconnected plastic pipe behind bathroom wall.
Plastic/pvc? pipe has disconnected from metal joint.
How do I fix together so that water pressure does not separate them again.
