The diagram should show as follows Brown + Black live Blue + Grey Neutral Green/ Yellow Earth But as previous electrician stated you need to use a certified electrician for safe installation Regards David
Ceramic Hob wiring....

Just purchased a new Ceramic Hob, easy enough to fit. But this one is supplied with with a pre-connected 5 core cable. If I simply use the Blue, Brown & Earth connections the hob does not work. I am thinking this needs links or different configuration since it can also be used on 3 phase?

Peter, There will be a diagram in the manual showing all 3 live wires going to the live terminal. Colour coding can vary, so double check if doing this yourself. This work should of course be done by a qualified electrician!
